In this video, you will learn some very useful tricks to handle difficult PTE Describe Image questions.
First things first:
You must not panic!
If you follow some simple rules, you can almost always come up with a reasonable response. That is much better than just fumbling around while looking at the image.
The first thing you should do is immediately give a general overview of the image. If this is specific to the image, wonderful! Otherwise you can make a generic statement, such as:
“The image gives useful information on the topic under consideration”.
The next step is to just read what is in front of you in the PTE Describe Image questions. Don’t try to sound very intelligent. Don’t think too much. Don’t over analyze the image. Just read what is in front of you – These can be words, numbers on the image, on the axis, in the title or any other part of the image.
The idea is to have something to say and not just get stuck.
Once you have done that for about two sentences, you can then wrap up! Simply make a concluding statement. Again, very good if the concluding statement is specific to the image. If that is difficult, you can just make a general conclusion.
