PTE Write from dictation Practice test
In the write from dictation questions in PTE, you will hear a short audio. Your task is to write it down as you hear it. If you add any words from your own, or miss any words from the audio, you will lose marks. There will be 3~4 questions of this type in the exam.
You will have 7 seconds before which the audio starts playing. There is no time limit per question. However, you have to consider the overall time limit for the listening section.
In this question your strategy matters a lot. Will you type directly as you hear the audio, or will you first hear and try to remember the audio, and type in the end. You can also note down a few words to help you remember the audio.
