In 2021 Samsung was the clear leader with 7 million units, followed by Lenovo at 3 million and Xiaomi at about 2 and half million. This has changed dramatically in 2021, as Xiaomi has almost matched Samsung with sales of 9 million units, while other companies share has either remained stagnant or shrunk. Educating girls has great benefits for the family and country. A girl on an average invests 90% of her income into her family compared to only 30 or 40% for a man. It has also been noted that any country that educates 10% more girls sees a 3% rise in its GDP. It can be concluded that educating girls therefore should be a top priority.
